Christmas Eve At First Christian Church
We love Christmas Eve and we embrace our Christmas Eve services with a gusto!
We have two Christmas Eve services:
The first service is at 6:00 p.m. It is "tuned" to be more inclusive of children! It will feature lots of Christmas caroling, wonderful special music, communion served to anyone who desires to partake, and a service of candles. We will be out by 7:00 p.m.
The second service is at 11:00 p.m. There is nothing that would be "exclusive of children" but this service traditionally draws a more mature crowd. This service will also feature Christmas caroling and special music and will have open communion and a service of candles. This is traditionally a smaller and more intimate service. We will be out by midnight!
Our facility is handicapped accessible. We will not be providing child care for these two services because people are encouraged to bring their children into the service with them. And if a little angel joins the angelic chorus so much the better - Christmas is for children!
