What is Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University?
Have you ever wondered where your money goes? Come learn how to better manage your money and your life. Our church is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace class to teach God’s way of handling money. The class is Dave teaching on video followed by small-group discussion.
These principles apply to everyone—whether you’re financially secure or are struggling with debt. The class will show you how to really live like never before with lessons on saving, debt elimination, investing and real estate to name a few. Over a million families have changed their family trees through Financial Peace, and we want to give you the opportunity to do the same
Preview Dates:
There will be two "previews" so people get to see what the class is all about. Each will last about 1 hour. Everyone is welcome to come check it out and see if this is for 'you."
January 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. (Come early and join us for our Wednesday Night Live Dinner at 6:00 p.m.)
January 29, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Our Fellowship Hall is on the back side of our facility and we encourage you to park in the back parking lot for easy access!
Class Dates:
Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. The class will run continuous except for an Easter Sunday break. Dates for classes are

March 4, 11, 18, 25
April 1, 15, 22, 29 (Note: we will not meet on April 8 - Easter Sunday)

Cost to Participants:
Cost is $100 per family. This covers the course materials. The church is donating the meeting rooms and utilities because it feels strongly about the value of this course for you. In order to receive your course materials in time for the first class, please register and pay on or before January 29, 2012. To register we need your name, email address, Zip code, phone #, and Check for $100. made out to First Christian Church of Denton.
Location:
All sessions will be held at First Christian Church of Denton, at 1203 Fulton Street, Denton, Tx, 76201. (We are two blocks North of Denton High School and about three blocks South of University/HWY 380). The class will meet in our Fellowship Hall, which is in the back of the property and parking is available right outside the doors.
Hosts/Leaders:
Your host for the class will be Pastor John Burton, Sr. Minister of FCC Denton, who will also be taking the class.
Your leader will be Virginia Choate, who will have help from other capable, dedicated church members.
Child Care Provided:
Child care will be provided in the church nursery by a member of the church.
